Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Our Refund Philosophy
At Skillzy Academy, we are committed to delivering quality education. We invest significant resources in preparing course materials, hiring expert instructors, and creating a learning environment. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting this investment.
2. Refund Eligibility

3. Conditions for Refund
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- A written refund request must be submitted to info@skillzyacademy.com
- The request must include your full name, contact number, course name, and reason for cancellation
- Course materials, if any physical items were provided, must be returned in original condition
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method only
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- After 3 or more classes have been attended
- If course access has been revoked due to violation of our code of conduct
- For non-attendance or failure to complete the course
- For dissatisfaction with placement outcomes (as placement is not guaranteed)
- For third-party certification fees (Google, Meta, HubSpot, etc.)
- For EMI processing charges or banking fees
- If course materials have been shared or distributed
5. Batch Transfer Policy
As an alternative to a refund, students may request a batch transfer (switching to a different batch or course start date) subject to:
- Request made at least 48 hours before the original batch start
- Availability in the requested batch
- A batch transfer fee of ₹500 may apply
- Maximum one batch transfer per enrollment
6. Course Cancellation by Skillzy Academy
In the rare event that Skillzy Academy cancels a course or batch:
- Students will be offered a full refund or transfer to the next available batch
- We will provide minimum 48 hours notice before any scheduled cancellation
- Refunds in this case will be processed within 7–10 business days
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days
- The amount is credited to the original payment source (bank account, UPI, card)
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is initiated
- Bank processing times may vary

9. Disputes
If you believe a refund decision is incorrect, you may escalate the matter by emailing our director at info@skillzyacademy.com with "Escalation" in the subject line. We aim to resolve all disputes within 5 business days.
